SU Welcome events line-up announced: take a look at what we have in store for you. From tours to nights out - start planning your first few weeks.
University registration opens online: set up your email, complete online pre-registration and more.
SU Welcome events tickets on sale (including free tickets!): once you have your university email you can log in to this website and start booking your events 🙌
Join Sports Clubs, Societies; VTeam: choose from a free trial or jump straight in to a membership. You'll need your email for this one.
Arrivals Weekend: if you're living on campus, this is when you'll most likely move into your new home.
Events start: from board games to nights out, there's something for everyone!
In-person University registration: if you're a local student, you'll be invited in early for your registration check. Great to get this done early so you can get to more events!
Your free SU membership unlocks a world of awesome spaces on campus…
The SU Lounge is the place to go if you want to chill or study with your friends. You can find regular events in here from SU Makes (crafting) to Bingo to Games nights. Over Summer, a kitchenette is being installed where you can make drinks and heat your food. You can find the SU Lounge next to the Gateway Building (Studio K).
The Mezz is a social space that is open even after the SU Lounge closes. We’ve got sofas, chairs, microwaves and game table. You can find The Mezz on the first floor of the SU Lounge. You can access The Mezz after the SU Lounge closes via the second floor of the Gateway Building.
Meet others and have fun doing something you enjoy.
Whether you’re looking for members of your faith or cultural background, searching for others in your department or just want to hang out with those who share the same interests; there’s something for everyone to get involved with. A family of 60+ unique and wonderful communities.
Just Play is our FREE social sport programme based around getting active, making friends and having fun.
We can't wait to welcome everyone back and to say hello to new faces! We're planning exciting regular training sessions and special one off sessions so keep your eyes peeled 👀.
